About this artwork
Creating through deconstructing the city.
Daniel Garay Arango (Colombia) is always seeking the unknown, running away from the everyday rut, the everyday city. He uses black and white and imagination as powerful tools.
Daniel takes his city to a new level and gives it new meanings, hiding what is always in plain sight. An exercise of patient observation. Currently based in Bogotá, he is leaving home to continue his photographic career in Madrid, searching to expand his cultural boundaries and finding new subjects and inspiration.
With architecture as his main language, his photographs are timeless; there is no day or age, just light, texture and shapes.
